The Garden Experience Dinner

Most dinners begin at the table... this one begins in the garden.

On Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st at 6:00pm, Oak Park invites you to a five-course menu built entirely around what is growing right outside the door. Begin your evening with an exclusive tour of our culinary garden and on-site prairie, where Chef Ian and the team harvest the produce and edible plants that define the evening's experience.

Summer Classics: A Collaboration with Grant Gillon

On Saturday, August 29, MasterChef winner Grant Gillon returns to the Oak Park kitchen. Last year, Grant joined Chef Ian for an evening of collaboration that left a lasting impression. This year, the two are building a six-course dinner that honors the nostalgia of an Iowa summer, handled with the kind of care and creativity that will make the classics feel new again.

Think backyard cookouts, freshly husked sweet corn, and frozen summer treats reimagined for a special evening at Oak Park.

The Third Annual Harvest Dinner

On Saturday, September 19th, Oak Park will host the third annual Harvest Dinner, a one-night event featuring an exclusive five-course tasting menu that pays tribute to the end of the growing season. This dinner honors the hard work of local farmers and the tending of our own culinary garden – the relationships and ingredients that define the menu throughout the year.

As in the past, we also use this dinner as an opportunity to recognize the work of the James Beard Foundation. The Foundation supports culinary education, advocates for a more sustainable food industry, and celebrates the people behind American food culture. This dinner is our way of bringing attention to that mission.
